Buying in |
The player has to buy special roulette chips in order to play roulette. To avoid disputes, each roulette player is given different coloured chips to play roulette games with. Those chips can only be used on the table for which it has been given. So, don’t forget to cash out before leaving the table. Each online roulette table has maximum and minimum bets. Combining an inside bet and an outside bet in order to meet the minimum online table limit is not allowed. That means, if the minimum betting limit is $10, then you must place $10 bet on the inside and a $10 bet on the outside. You cannot place $6 on the inside and $4 on the outside to make it $10. |
The Dealer |
The dealer is a casino employee. You will notice him rotating the wheel even between the spins. The ball is spun in the opposite direction of the wheel. If the wheel is rotating clockwise then the ball will be rotated anticlockwise. This helps the ball sustain its jumping and spinning motion before landing on any one slot and this actually gives you the edge. Once the ball has landed and settled on one slot, the dealer will indicate it with a marker as the winning number. You can place bets for the next spin only upon the removal of the marker from the table. |
At a full table 30 spins per hour should be expected while playing roulette.
This marks the end of our how to play roulette guide. The next step is to try your skills!
