How to make a pass line bet

This is how a simple pass line bet is placed. This bet is placed on the pass line before a new shooter begins his roll or after a shooter has made his point, In other words, during a come out roll.

How to win on come out roll?

If the shooter rolls a 7 or 11, you win your pass line bet.

When will you lose on come out roll

If the shooter rolls a 2, 3 or 12, you lose your pass line bet.

If you are a shooter and you get these craps number you get to roll a chance to roll, but as said you lose your bet.

Establishing a point

If the shooter rolls, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, you make a point. These are called box numbers as well because their location is inside of boxes on craps table.

Example: point number

As 6 is rolled here, it is a point. We call it hard six because both the dice have 3s. To win the shooter must roll one more six before a 7 is rolled.

Way to make 7

If 7 comes before the point number (6 in our example) is rolled, you lose your bet. This is called sevening out. Once the shooter sevens out, the dice goes to next shooter.

Way to make a point

If the shooter rolls the point number (in our example 6) then pass line bet is the winner. This is known as making your point.

Pass Line bet pays even

Pass line bet is paid even if the shooter makes a point. Suppose the player bets $10 on the pass line He will be paid $10 for the pass line bet.
